Wakefield Council are on a journey to becoming a data and Intelligence led Council. To help us on this journey we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and support the delivery of high-quality Business Intelligence solutions across the Council. This is a unique opportunity to combine people-focused leadership with data-driven innovation, ensuring our services meet customer expectations and drive continuous improvement.
The role will support the implementation of the Council's Business Intelligence strategy, including automation and visualisation and drive data engineering initiatives, managing corporate datasets and enabling effective analysis.

  • Degree or equivalent qualification a related field.
  • Strong technical expertise and proven experience in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, data visualisation platforms).
  • Experience in data engineering, dataset management, and automation.
