An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as Business Manager/ Rota coordinator within Medical Services for Mental Health & Learning Disabilities continuing care group.
We are looking for an individual who is able to divide their time effectively throughout the dual role to provide strategic business support and operational rota support ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient operation of Medical Services.
The post holder will need to demonstrate organisational, planning and time management skills, and who can work well under pressure and to tight timescales. You will be responsible for the provision of an efficient, high quality business performance and planning process for the Medical Services.
The role involves Medical Workforce Co-ordination managing complex medical rotas across multiple specialties and 3 counties ensuring adequate cover and skill mix. Help manage leave, sickness, and emergency cover to maintain uninterrupted service delivery. You will provide operational and business support to act as a liaison between clinical teams, HR, finance and operational management.
The post holder will be using data to identify areas requiring support to meet Welsh Government targets and developing data capture systems where needed. You will need to be able to demonstrate advanced digital skills with a good experience of working with databases, spreadsheets and other software.
Monitor medical staffing budgets including locum usage and job plan alignment. This role ensures that medical staff are strategically managed, operational risks are mitigated, and services are delivered efficiently supporting the Clinical Lead of the Clinical Care Group.
To ensure that information and documentation is provided in a timely fashion and readily available for meetings and discussions, including preparing reports, agendas, minutes, statistics and other similar documents.
