As a fast-growing healthcare staffing agency, we're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to drive the coordination of our core operations, support strategic decision-making, and ensure seamless delivery of care staffing solutions to our clients.
The Role:
In this key role, you will oversee the day-to-day business and staffing operations, manage workforce scheduling, and work directly with the leadership team to shape business strategy and growth. You'll ensure that our clients receive high-quality service while helping streamline our internal systems for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily business operations across departments to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Oversee staffing logistics: manage and update rotas, confirm shift coverage, and resolve scheduling conflicts
Serve as the central point of contact for staff and clients, ensuring a smooth communication flow and high service standards
Track operational performance metrics (e.g. fill rates, client satisfaction, response times) and report insights to management
Provide strategic suggestions and contribute to new initiatives that support continuous business growth and service innovation
Work with leadership to identify operational challenges and implement improvements
Support the development and refinement of internal processes, including onboarding, compliance, and workforce management
Ensure compliance with industry standards, CQC regulations, and agency best practices
Assist in planning business expansions, partnerships, and technology implementations
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in operations, rota management, or staffing coordination (preferably within a healthcare or recruitment agency)
Strong understanding of workforce planning and shift allocation in care settings
Experience working with care homes, supported living services, or NHS trust hospitals
Knowledge of staff scheduling and CRM tools (e.g. CarePlanner, RotaCloud, ShiftCare, etc.)
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Confidence in working under pressure and managing fast-paced change
Strategic thinking and a passion for continuous improvement
A collaborative mindset and a desire to grow with the business
