About the role



We are currently recruiting a Business Resilience Manager to join the team and be the subject matter expert in business resilience and will advise, assure, and report on the implementation of business resilience in the organisation. You will own and operate the Business Continuity Management System ensure that it is effective and complies to external and internal standards and regulations, ensuring that business continuity plans are embedded, accurate, and tested by utilising critical metrics and objectives and key results across the organisation.


You will be responsible for



Support the development and maintenance of the organisation-wide business resilience strategic plan and minimum standards Develop collaborative relationships with people responsible for business resilience within the first line of defence (our partners) and advise them on how to: identify and assess risks which could disrupt our businesses, identify and assess critical business outcomes and capture critical processes and dependencies to determine recovery objectives and maximum tolerable impacts Coordinate and maintain our resilience platform Advise our partners on ways to craft and maintain business continuity solutions and plans, and help them establish and maintain crisis and incident response teams and communications capability Provide mentorship, training and support to embed business resilience capability and awareness across our business Design and facilitate exercises sought at testing the efficiency of our plans and strengthening our responses, and support regular updates to Crisis Management Plans Perform horizon scanning activities and external networking to increase awareness of emerging risks which could destabilise our business Supervise compliance with our minimum standards, and raise and challenge non compliance where appropriate

You will need



Skills:

Business Continuity Management System (ISO22301) Business Continuity Planning Operational Resilience Crisis & Incident Management Risk management, governance and reporting basics IT Disaster Recovery and Information Security basics Flexible, agile and proactive response

Experience:

Business Resilience subject matter expert with direct experience Understanding of the Telecoms & Retail sectors and the business resilience challenges it faces Understanding of the applicable regulatory frameworks associated to the Telcoms & Retail sectors
