Role Overview
The Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the office. This position involves a variety of administrative, financial, and customer service tasks, ensuring that daily operations run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customers, suppliers, and visitors -- handling calls, emails, and enquiries professionally.
Maintain and update company records, databases, and filing systems (digital and paper-based).
Assist with scheduling, coordinating site visits, and managing staff diaries.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Assist with internal communications and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Provide administrative support to the management team as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role (preferably within construction, renewables, or a similar industry).
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
Basic understanding of financial processes such as invoicing and purchase orders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Attributes
Experience using CRM or job management systems.
Understanding of renewable technologies or construction project administration.
A proactive, problem-solving attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
