We are seeking a full time Business Support Administrator to join our team at Merchant House to provide essential business support to the team and contribute to the efficient operation of the service.
The
Role
As a Business Support Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries and provide comprehensive administrative support. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing reception duties welcoming visitors to the building
Managing incoming enquiries and directing them appropriately
Providing diary management and scheduling of meetings
Preparing and formatting correspondence, reports, and presentations
Maintaining accurate records and databases
Processing requests for information and ensuring timely responses
Supporting with data entry and management
Completing health and safety checks
To excel in this role, you should have a good level of education, including GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent), and possess the following skills and attributes:
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a similar environment
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
