Job Description

Cordell Health are looking for a part time Business Support Administrator at our Portsmouth office, for a fixed term contract of 6 months, to support our administrative team. Working hours are 21 hours per week. days required are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Salary of 25,000 Full Time Equivalent

Key Responsibilities



To carry out the day to day business support processes of the company and compliance with all regulatory requirements, under the overall direction and in support of the Director of Business Operations.

Answering telephone queries and providing first line contact for referrals into the service

Booking appointments and maintaining diaries which may include the booking of clinic rooms

Proactively managing email contacts and queries before and after consultations have taken place

Providing administrative support to the clinical team in managing referrals into the service including but not limited to referrals, health surveillance and research passports

Supporting the clients with day to day requirements under the direction of the account manager

Dedicated support for client specific service lines and management of all administrative support for client including case referrals, post offer health screening, health surveillance and wellbeing

Proof reading and quality controlling documentation

Supporting audit and other business processes as required by the Director of Business Operations

To sustain the delivery of safe, effective, efficient, economical and ethical services that adds value to those the Company provides services for.

To support the business and Director of Business Operations throughout implementation and embedding processes

Desired work experience



General administrative experience in a customer services role with good communication skills both verbally and administratively

Good knowledge /experience in using IT systems in an administrative capacity including diary management and appointment booking

Experience in a medical/healthcare setting would be advantageous but not essential
