About the role



Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering (BBGE) is a leading provider of specialist geotechnical solutions across the UK, and we're proud to be playing a key role in delivering the Sizewell C project--one of the most important infrastructure projects in the country.



We're currently looking for a dedicated

Business Support Administrator / Security Coordinator

to join our team. This vital role will provide high-level administrative and analytical support to our site project team, while coordinating all aspects of security vetting in collaboration with our client.

What you'll be doing

What You'll Be Doing:




Supporting the project leadership team and wider site staff with daily administrative functions Managing both electronic and paper-based filing systems, including secure document control Producing and formatting professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentations Tracking and uploading incoming quality documentation from the supply chain Supporting engineers in maintaining lifetime quality records and document registers Organising team meetings and conferences, including minute-taking and logistics Coordinating UK travel and accommodation bookings for project staff Handling confidential project tasks and sensitive business matters with discretion Managing the full security vetting process for project and client teams Supporting invoice processing and expense administration Collaborating on BBGE's sustainability and community engagement initiatives

Strong administrative/secretarial experience in a fast-paced team environment Excellent organisational and multitasking skills High-level IT skills--particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive issues confidently Clear communicator with excellent teamworking and relationship-building abilities Experience in document management and working to tight deadlines A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
