Summary



The Business Support Analyst will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions by providing analytical, administrative, and coordination support across projects and operations. This role involves gathering and analyzing data, supporting change initiatives, documenting business processes, and assisting in the implementation of new systems or enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and experience working within multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with tools such as Excel, JIRA, Confluence, and service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) is essential. Experience working in Agile environments and supporting business operations across departments will be highly valued.

Roles and Responsibilities



Provide day-to-day business support, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and system queries. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation. Support project teams by gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements. Assist with the preparation of reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders. Collaborate with IT and business teams to facilitate the implementation of new systems or changes. Maintain accurate documentation of processes, workflows, and system configurations. Coordinate meetings, workshops, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities. Monitor and report on service desk tickets, identifying trends and recurring issues. Ensure business continuity by supporting issue tracking, escalations, and incident resolution. Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing initiatives for business users. Stay informed about best practices in business operations, systems support, and tools.

Qualifications and Experience



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. At least 2-4 years of experience in a business support or business analysis role. Proven ability to document business processes, write functional specifications, and manage stakeholder communications. Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Understanding of ITIL practices and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshservice). Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise across teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 34,000.00-40,000.00 per year
