College of Science and Engineering / School of Biological Sciences



Full Time: 35hrs per week



Open-Ended ( permanent)



The Opportunity:



We are looking for a Business Support and Finance Administrator to provide administrative support for the School of Biological Sciences business activities.


This post involves hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.


Supporting the School's business activities, the post holder will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to the provision of efficient and effective customer service, with particular focus on financial reporting and reconciliation.



Your skills and attributes for success:



Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Microsoft Excel skills must be demonstrably above basic levels (e.g. familiarity with pivot tables) Proactive approach to seeking out information and to solving problems Experience of analysing and reconciling financial reports Demonstrable high level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
