Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week.



We are currently looking to recruit a Business Support Assistant for our Fleet & Workshop Services team based in Hellaby, Rotherham which provides over 200 vehicles to a broad spectrum of Council departments that provide services in our community. There is also a hire desk for short and long-term vehicle hire, a driver training team, a busy in-house vehicle maintenance workshop and an MOT lane.



You will complete a variety of administration processes, so attention to detail is key and you will assist the Transport Managers in maintaining compliance records for the Council's 'Goods Vehicle Operator Licence'.



There will be opportunity to expand your skills and learn more about the operation of goods vehicles, as you will be part of a strong and supportive team. You will need to be hardworking, customer focused, conscientious with a keen eye for detail, and able to work in a busy environment.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
