We are a growing business that provides high-quality business support services to leaders and growing organisations, including bookkeeping, virtual business support, and systems-led admin. We work behind the scenes to help clients stay organised, compliant, and focused on their priorities.
We are looking for a Business Support Assistant to join the team and support both internal operations and client work. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys combining admin, finance, systems, and social media content creation and management in a structured but flexible environment.
The Role
You'll work closely with the Managing Director to support day-to-day business operations, client administration, and internal systems. The role will start with in-office working during the training and onboarding period to ensure you are fully supported and confident in our processes, before moving to a more flexible hybrid arrangement.
The role is part-time initially, with scope to increase hours over time as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and financial administration, including reconciliations and data entry
Supporting month-end and internal financial processes
Managing and updating records within the company CRM system
Task and workflow management using Monday.com
Social media content creation, scheduling, and basic management in line with agreed plans
General business administration and documentation
Preparing reports and information for internal and external use
Supporting the Managing Director with operational and organisational tasks
Helping maintain clear, well-documented processes and systems
Skills & Experience
Essential
Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
Experience inadministration
Comfortable using digital tools and learning new systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
Clear written communication
Desirable
Experience with accounting software such as Xero and bookkeeping, including financial reconciliations
Familiarity with CRM systems (any platform)
Experience creating or managing social media content for a business
Experience working in a small business or professional services environment
