Lord Hardy Court Residential Home

Working hours between Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm



Lord Hardy Court provides care to 60 older people, with a range of individual needs, and Mental Health problems including Dementia. The home also provides Respite, IMC Step-up Step-down services to the community joint working with NHS

NQF Level 2 qualification e.g. GCSEs Grades A*-C, NVQs Level 2, GNVQs Intermediate, City and Guilds Craft or Part 2,

Evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience though training is available in- house and through the council's own programmes.

Admin support staff are expected to contribute to the provision of a comfortable, stimulating homely environment, that meets CQC Fundamental l Standards of Care, maintain health and Safety and Dignity in Care Principles

Admin Support staff are also expected to contribute and develop a customer focused service that is responsive and flexible regarding all customer needs.

Deal with basic customer enquiries from both residents, visitors, and contractors. Dealing with face-to-face enquiries and those received via telephone

Receipt and distribute incoming post, process correspondence and send mail out

Gather information to report back to others, set up and produce non-standard letters/templates/spreadsheets/documentation, update and maintain databases and produce management information

Provide help and assistance to staff in the use of IT packages/systems

Carry out filing, maintaining staff records, preparing documents for scanning, photocopying, faxing, arranging meetings, diary appointments, handling post, taking minutes.
