We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Coordinator to join our dynamic Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities with ease, and communicates clearly and confidently across all levels of the business.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Finance team. From financial processing to office coordination, your ability to multi-task, stay organised, and maintain accuracy will be essential to delivering timely and reliable support.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be a go-to person for a wide range of tasks, including:
Finance Support
Assist the Senior Finance Assistant with monthly routines
Manage purchase orders and incoming deliveries
Support credit control and customer Direct Debit collections
Reconcile supplier statements and collate credit card receipts
Business & Office Support
Coordinate travel and accommodation for staff
Book meeting rooms and restaurants
Manage weekly office supplies (milk, fruit, etc.)
Organise maintenance, food vans, and company events (summer, Christmas)
Track and celebrate staff birthdays and work anniversaries
Prepare welcome packs for new starters
What You'll Bring
Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or finance-related role
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial processes
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred but not essential)
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently and as part of a team
A positive, can-do attitude
