An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Planning Business Support Team (PBS) as a Business Support Officer. As a Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various essential functions within the Planning Service.
The responsibilities, that you will be trained to undertake, will include, but are not limited to:
Working with the planning applications IT system to registering planning applications and inform local residents/businesses that an application has been received
Undertaking the scanning, administration and validation of planning application, to make sure that all of the correct information is provided to enable Planning Officers to assess the application
General administrative duties related to Planning appeals including registration, and notifying and communicating with relevant parties.
General administrative duties within the Land Charge Service including registration of new Land Charge searches and recording information provided
General administrative duties relating to Planning Enforcement and the Community Infrastructure Levy
