We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Business Support Officer within the Care Leavers Team for self-motivated individual who can provide essential support and a quality service to our practice staff members.
This role is based at One Avenue, Aston, Birmingham, however we do work to hybrid model of working.
The Care Leavers' Team supports young people who have left care as they make the transition to adulthood from age 18 up to 25yrs.
The business support team provide administrative tasks and financial payments, to ensure that processes are maintained in a timely and accurate way, in line with policy, so that the best outcomes are achieved for young people.
About You....

• You will work flexibly as part of a diverse team environment, providing cover when needed to ensure continuity of service provision.
• Support other teams in driving efficiencies in processes.
• You will play an important role in the effective day to day running of the service we are looking for people who are well organised; have good attention to detail and who can work own their own initiative.
• You must be able to work effectively within a team environment, be customer and child focused and be able to deliver the role with a flexible approach.
• You will be a 'can-do' person, who is passionate about high quality service delivery and performance.

Key skills we will be looking for in your personal statement include:-

• Attention to detail with an ability to work accurately e.g. literacy and numeracy
• Ability to work on own initiative with a pro-active approach to all tasks to ensure business objectives are met
• An ability to work flexibly as part of a diverse team environment, providing cover when needed to ensure continuity of service provision, and the ability to multi-task to cover other roles within the team
• Experience of working in a pressured environment, dealing with several conflicting and changing priorities effectively, to achieve business objectives
• Good understanding of Microsoft packages.
