An exciting opportunity has arisen to join North Yorkshire Council in our Business Support team as a Business Support Officer, supporting both the Discharge Hub and Liquid Logic Adults (LLA) system.
You will be part of a team providing vital administrative support to Health and Adult Services colleagues, helping to ensure timely hospital discharges and smooth operation of the LLA system. The team is based countywide, with hubs in Malton, Northallerton, Scarborough and Skipton, and depending on who the successful candidate is will determine where the post is based.
What you will bring...
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated enthusiastic, conscientious and flexible to change. You should be able to prioritise your own workload, meet deadlines, provide high level support to meetings including producing an accurate record to a high standard. The role encompasses a wide range of functions including supporting Health and Adult Services colleagues with queries on Liquid Logic Adults (LLA) and supporting the discharge hub process to support timely discharges from hospital including administering meetings and updating trackers and databases.
You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work to and develop defined business processes, be organised and prioritise your workload as well as having the ability to work on your own initiative to tight deadlines. You must have excellent ICT skills and be able to use a wide range of Microsoft and bespoke packages. Accuracy and attention to detail is critical, together with a strong commitment to confidentiality and excellent customer service.
