We are looking for an experienced administrator who is looking to learn and grow their knowledge within an officer role. This role is a full time office based role.
You will be a highly motivated administrator with excellent communication skills, as a key part of this role is liaising with internal and external customers. You will deal with sensitive highly confidential information, both written and verbal, and will liaise with members of the public and professionals. You will be working to strict deadlines to support our Fleet service. You must be highly organised and proactive, the successful candidate must communicate daily with the workshop teams, parks, fleet and managers of all these services.
The day-to-day core focus is providing direct support to the operational workshop team, you must have excellent ICT skills and experience of using Microsoft packages.
You will need to observe a high level of confidentiality and comply with GDPR at all times.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Responsible for the organisation of North Yorkshire Council's fleet and transport vehicles, including public vehicles, complying with operational guidelines of MOT and servicing.
Working closely with the operational team to support an extremely busy workshop, liaising with colleagues across the East directorate.
This role also includes the use of a bespoke system, working with advanced schedulers of vehicle information, support with invoicing and daily meetings to ensure the smooth running of our site.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
