Are you a highly organised administrator with great attention to detail and a methodical approach? If so, this could be the job for you as we are looking for someone to work within our friendly Business Support Corporate Landlord team as a Helpdesk Officer.
The Helpdesk Officer is a key role as it is the first point of contact for all enquiries relating to Corporate Landlord Facilities Management and dealing directly with customers for repairs or planned maintenance on BCBC buildings. You'll be liaising with colleagues from across the council ensuring repairs are done in a timely manner.
A strong communicator, you will be dealing with customer requests to address both reactive and planned maintenance issues. This will include allocating the jobs to the appropriate section, liaising between clients and both internal/external contractors and maintaining the records on the relevant computerised system.
You will be comfortable working with databases and digital system and ideally will have some experience in a business support function.
