Introduction
We are looking for a Administrator to join a company based in Chorley that delivers decommissioning and waste management solutions to the nuclear industry. You will be part of the bid winning team
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • ?Provide appropriate response to client or internal colleague enquiry.
  • ?Provision of support services to the Proposal Managers.
  • Support with monthly reporting requirements, facilitation of management meetings, upkeep of registers, maintaining records, support with document control.
  • ?Liaise with team members to monitor progress of tenders.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team plater.
  • ?Help maintain enquiries database.
  • Support the Business Development Managers in arranging exhibitions or corporate events.
  • Be aware of Company business plan and help to promote the business to ensure continuity of business within the context of that plan.
  • Contribute to the development of business and success of current projects by the internal referral and communication of appropriate information and intelligence.
  • Recognise the potential impact of own actions for the Group, Company, Clients and Suppliers and act in appreciation of this at all times.
  • Maintain effective working relationships across all Group, Company, Site and with Function Heads.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
  • Good standard of education to include English and Maths at GCSE, equivalent or experience
  • A graduate level of qualification is desirable or demonstrable equivalent experience
  • Evidence of technical or teamwork experience in a business setting
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Read analyse and interpret charts, spreadsheets, schedules and (in some business areas) technical drawings
  • Clear and concise communication approach, both oral and written, at multiple levels
  • Effective multi-task working, identify and manage priorities and work to challenging timescales
  • Possess good listening skills enabling requests to be assimilated and converted into action plan
