Duties

Prepare and cut various types of meat, including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry, according to specifications. Ensure all meat products are handled and stored in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the butcher area and shop workspace. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of meat products and supplies. Collaborate with offer staff to fulfill orders efficiently and ensure timely service. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions regarding meat selection and preparation techniques. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Ability to operate various butchery tools and equipment safely. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
