Duties

Prepare and cut various types of meat, including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry, according to specifications. Ensure all meat products are handled and stored in compliance with food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the butcher area, including tools and equipment. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfil specific meat requirements for menu items. Provide excellent customer service by answering queries regarding meat cuts and preparation methods. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing tasks.

Skills

Proven experience as a Butcher Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food production processes. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various butchering tools. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers. A passion for quality food and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
