Catering Butcher

We are a leading food-service specialist known for delivering the highest quality products. We are currently seeking an experienced Catering Butcher with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for quality to join our busy team in Embleton.

You will play a vital role in preparing a wide range of meat, poultry, and game products to meet our customer specifications. You will ensure all food safety standards are upheld while working in a fast-paced environment.

You will be approachable, hands-on, and ready to work closely with your team to achieve great results. With a positive attitude toward learning, you'll be eager to develop new skills and take pride in your work. You will maintain high standards by working accurately and efficiently, always with a customer focussed mindset.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process raw meat, poultry, and game to customer specifications Maintain cleanliness in line with the "clean as you go" policy Ensure food safety and hygiene procedures are followed Maintain high standards of health and safety in your area Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in butchery or as a chef Knowledge of meat types, origins, and preparation methods Willingness to follow HACCP and company safety guidelines Strong work ethic, good punctuality, and professional presentation Experience in a catering butcher environment is advantageous (training provided)
