We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Butcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and presentation of meat products while maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen environment.

Duties
Prepare various cuts of meat, including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry, according to specifications.
Ensure all meat products are processed in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the butchery area, including proper storage of meat products.
Operate and maintain butchery equipment safely and effectively.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfil orders and ensure timely food production.
Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Provide excellent customer service by answering queries regarding meat products and preparation methods.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Butcher or in a similar role within a restaurant or kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
Familiarity with various cuts of meat and their culinary uses.
Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A culinary qualification or relevant training is an advantage but not essential.
