A unique position has opened for a skilled butcher to become part of our passionate crew in a dynamic setting that supports career development and a healthy work-life balance.

We are a Pasture for Life Butchery, working exclusively with British producers who raise animals naturally and responsibly. We believe that ethical farming leads to better-tasting meat, and if you're passionate about sustainability and quality, we want to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

Breaking down beef, pork, and lamb carcasses Crafting sausages from scratch Engaging with customers at the counter Offering detailed knowledge on preparation and recipe ideas Logging daily temperature checks Assist in regular stock takes

Hours of Work

5 days per week (working pattern to be agreed). Weekend work will be required Monday-Sunday 8am-5.30pm Closed Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 27th December and New Year's Day

Our ideal candidate

A passion for butchery and a strong desire to deliver the best meat products to customers. Proven experience as a butcher, with in-depth knowledge of various cuts including full carcass breakdown. A deep understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Great customer service skills and a customer-first mindset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of meat products efficiently. Familiarity with state-of-the-art butchery equipment and the willingness to adapt to new technologies and techniques. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
