We are seeking an experienced Butchery Manager with a minimum of 5 years' butchery and management experience to lead our brand-new store. You'll be responsible for driving sales, maintaining the highest standards of product quality and presentation, and managing a motivated, customer-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the butchery department, including staffing, ordering, stock control, and merchandising.
Prepare, cut, and display meats to the highest standards.
Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
Lead, train, and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and maintain excellent standards.
Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Work closely with senior management to deliver strong performance in the new branch.
About You:
Minimum 5 years' butchery and management experience in a retail or wholesale environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Expert knowledge of all aspects of butchery, including carcass breakdown, portioning, and presentation.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Passionate about delivering outstanding service and quality products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
