As an Indirects Buyer, you'll play a key role in driving value, innovation, and sustainability across our indirect spend categories. You'll be responsible for delivering effective sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring commercial excellence.

What you'll be doing...

Lead category and sourcing strategy development, including market analysis, supplier mapping, and risk assessment. Design and deliver sourcing initiatives that balance cost, quality, service, risk, and sustainability. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to secure competitive terms and ensure compliance. Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships to unlock innovation and long-term value. Partner with cross-functional teams to align business needs with procurement strategies. Drive responsible procurement by embedding ESG principles and supporting sustainability goals. Leverage data and technology to track spend, performance, and continuous improvement opportunities. Support Group Procurement projects, sharing best practices and mentoring junior colleagues

Working pattern:

Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm with hybrid working: 3 days in the office/2 days at home per week



What can you bring?

Proven experience as a Buyer (minimum 3 years), ideally with exposure to indirect categories. Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent analytical, commercial, and project management capabilities. Proficiency in MS Office, with experience using e-procurement or spend analytics tools preferred. Ability to influence, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for driving sustainability and innovation. Degree and/or CIPS qualification (or working towards) desirable.
