We're looking for a dynamic and driven Buyer to join our Regional Civils team on a fixed-term contract. If you're passionate about procurement, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a real impact, this is the role for you.
What you'll be doing




Leading the procurement process from tender to award, ensuring value for money and contract compliance.
Building strong, performance-led relationships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
Supporting work-winning opportunities and delivering sustainable procurement and social value.
Collaborating across departments to meet commercial and HSEQ+S objectives.
Monitoring market trends and identifying new supply opportunities.


Who we're looking for




Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within construction or a related sector.
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of delivering high-value deals.
Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to compliance.
Experience with Oracle R12 (a plus!) and ideally MCIPS or equivalent.
Knowledge of Category Management, SRM, and SPM is desirable.
