We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Buyer to support our procurement and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will assist in sourcing products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. Duties
Assist in the procurement of goods and services by liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Utilise ERP systems such as Brightpearl, Sage & Peoplevox to process purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels.
Support negotiation processes with suppliers to secure favourable terms and prices.
Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of products.
Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions and supplier information within relevant ERP platforms.
Collaborate with merchandising teams to forecast demand and optimise stock levels.
Monitor supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Assist in resolving procurement-related issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Qualifications
Proven experience working with ERP systems such as Brightpearl, Sage & Peoplevox is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and merchandising principles.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build productive supplier relationships.
Familiarity with procurement processes within logistics or manufacturing environments.
Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
