Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing bespoke kitchen cabinets and furniture using various woodworking tools and machinery. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture custom kitchen cabinets and related joinery using wood, MDF, plywood, laminates, and other materials Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and cutting lists Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, edge banders, and CNC machines (where applicable) Assemble cabinet components using appropriate methods (gluing, screwing, dowelling, etc.) Apply finishes such as varnish, paint, or laminate as specified Conduct quality control checks to ensure finished products meet standards Install cabinets on-site as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop Liaise with designers, project managers, or clients to clarify specifications
Requirements:

Proven experience as a cabinet maker or joiner, preferably in kitchen or fitted furniture manufacturing Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools Ability to read technical drawings and cutting lists accurately Attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship Good physical fitness and manual dexterity Familiarity with health and safety regulations Full UK driving licence (preferred for installation work)
Desirable:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Bench Joinery, Carpentry & Joinery, or similar Experience using CNC machines or CAD software CSCS card for on-site work (if required)
Working Hours

Typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime or weekend work depending on project deadlines.
