Quest Employment is recruiting Cable Assembly Operatives for an industry-leading manufacturer based in Brackmills, Northampton. You will be assembling data and power cables used in a wide range of sectors including IT, automation, transport, and energy.

Shift Patterns Available

Day Shift:

Monday - Wednesday: 07:30 - 17:30 Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00 Total: 37.5 hours per week Pay: 13.00 per hour
Night Shift:

Monday - Wednesday: 18:00 - 06:30 Total: 36 hours per week Pay: 15.60 per hour
Overtime:

Paid at 1.5x after standard hours

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and connect power and data cables to specification Use hand tools and semi-automated equipment for cutting, stripping, crimping and connecting Work from written and visual instructions to meet production targets Carry out quality checks on completed work Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workspace Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

The Ideal Candidate

Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, active work Experience in production, assembly, or electrical work (transferable skills welcome) Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment Strong team player with a reliable and positive attitude
