We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative CAD Design Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing precise technical drawings and schematics for a variety of projects, including construction, system design of not only bespoke but also retro fit projects within the quarrying and recycling industries. Duties
Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
Create schematic diagrams and system layouts for construction and engineering projects.
Utilise SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and 3ds to produce complex models and visualisations.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to interpret project requirements accurately.
Site surveys to measure and evaluate projects prior to design and drawings
Assist in the realisation of design concepts through precise drafting and modelling.
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
Maintain organised digital files of all drawings and revisions for easy access and version control.
Support the team in developing graphic designs related to project presentations.
Qualifications
Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and Schematics.
Strong understanding of construction processes and system design principles.
Experience with graphic design principles is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail with a focus on producing accurate technical drawings.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
