Are you an experienced design technician looking for your next challenge?

Following continued growth, Fordingbridge Plc are looking for a new Design Technician to join our busy Drawing Office. As a Design Technician your role will be focused on the production of general arrangement drawings, 3D models, detailed fabrication drawings, and BOM's using Autodesk Advance Steel and AutoCAD software. Working with Fordingbridge you will have the unique opportunity to follow the lifecycle of your project from inception to installation, collaborating with our in-house steel fabricators and installation crews as we bring your drawings to life. Working with schools, leisure operators, garden centres, hospitals and more throughout the UK.

Essential:

Professional knowledge of Autodesk Advance Steel & AutoCAD software
Experience in mechanical design, engineering principles, and steel structures

Ability to produce general arrangement drawings, BOM's and fabrication drawings

Self-motivated and accustomed to working under tight deadlines Able to liaise with the Sales team to translate the brief & survey information Ability to work as part of a team Keen eye for detail and time management skills Own transport
