Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician/Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed schematics that relate to the manufacture & installation of generators and associated equipment using various CAD software. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, engineers and architects to bring projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience with tools such as AutoCAD LT 2021, Revit, and Civil 3D, and will be proficient in producing high-quality technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Develop and prepare detailed schematics and drawings using CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Sketchup, MicroStation, NavisWorks, SolidWorks. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications. Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards. Review and modify existing designs based on feedback from team members or clients. Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions. Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports. Participate in on-site project meetings to discuss progress and address any design-related issues.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT 2021, Revit, Civil 3D, Sketchup, MicroStation, NavisWorks, SolidWorks is essential. Strong understanding of engineering principles and design concepts. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. A relevant qualification in engineering or design is advantageous.
