Job Summary:
You will be responsible for utilising CAD software (cabinet vision) to transfer information from sales order into manufacturing components.
Experience
- Ideally the candidate will have 2 years of practical experience with Cabinet Vision, and cabinet construction. However those candidates who feel their skill set, and experience would be relevant are welcome to apply, as onsite training will be given.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed cabinet designs using
Cabinet Vision
software.
Utilising the software you will produce cut lists, materials lists, and Bill of Materials (BOM
)Ensure designs align with customer specifications and manufacturing capabilities.
Be responsible for the purchase of components (Board/Edging)
Work with team leaders to plan production and optimising efficiencies.
Ensure tool paths, drilling operations, and cutting sequences are accurate and safe.
Maintain and update cabinet libraries, hardware, and material definitions in Cabinet Vision along with with
updates
to Cabinet Vision and CNC software.
Productivity Maintenance:
Ensure consistent productivity in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of workmanship and minimising defects.
Team Collaboration:
Assist colleagues as needed and work effectively both independently and with minimal supervision.
Customer Satisfaction:
Foster a culture of exceeding customer expectations through quality work
Cross-Departmental Duties:
Perform duties in other departments as required and undertake necessary training to meet role expectations.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in Cabinet vision, or other CAD software is essential.
Skills:
Strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Attitude:
Positive, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Pay will vary depending on experience.
