Job Description

A fantastic opportunity to design for a manufacturer of timber windows and doors to some of the finest residential and commercial properties within the UK has arisen. The role involves fulfilling customers' requirements within the company framework and scope of work. The successful applicant must use all their experience to produce detailed CAD drawings to enable the sales orders to be processed for manufacture within our state-of-the-art factory in the heart of Essex.

Role Responsibilities

Work with great attention to detail to produce accurate and detailed drawings for client approval.

Successfully manage a varied and challenging portfolio of work in a timely manner.

Create and control all production drawings for manufacturing.

Contribute to product development.

Work closely with other team members and departments like Processing, Production and Surveying teams.

Communicate with upper management and answer any questions from the shop floor.

Compile thermal reports to industry standards.

Experience and Qualifications

AutoCAD.

An excellent understanding of technical drawings.

A good understanding of current building regulations.

A good understanding of manufacturing processes.

Carpentry/Joinery experience is a distinct advantage.

Effective communication skills.

Able to work well both in a team and on your own, using your initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Highly proficient in the use of IT software and systems. i.e. Microsoft Office (Excel).

Pay: 30,000.00-32,500.00 per year
