CAD Technician
Duties:
- Create detailed as-built drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) and pointcloud software
- Collaborate with our survey engineers to develop accurate and precise as-built drawings of floorplans, elevations, sections etc. from pointcloud data
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback and specifications
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Maintain organised and up-to-date project files and documentation
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations
Qualifications:
- Proficient in CAD software, BricsCAD, Revit, Recap, Leica Cyclone, 3DR, CloudWorx & Bentley Software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings, from survey data; topographical 2D & 3D point cloud data.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and construction methods
- Ability to interpret survey, architectural and engineering drawings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
