CAD Technician

We are currently looking for a CAD Technician, with experience in the industry, to join our expanding team.

This is your opportunity to join our engineering and transportation consultancy and be involved in a diverse range of interesting and challenging projects from small residential schemes to large mixed-use developments.

The duties will include the following:

Assisting the Directors and Associates alongside the design team to produce drawings for a range of highway and drainage schemes. Utilise AutoCAD software to create detailed drawings, plans and layouts for highway scheme, to include vehicular accesses and visibility splays. Undertake swept path analysis. Incorporate design changes and revisions as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness of drawings. Coordinate with other members of the design team.

Key skills and experience:

Proficiency in AutoCAD software. Good understanding of civil engineering principles and practices related to highway design. Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise workload.
