Duration: Permanent

Hours 40hrs: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

Salary is up to 26000 to 29000 per annum depending on age, experience + over time

Holidays 20 days + statutory holidays

Trainee Production CNC Engraver

to join its team,

The is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for preparing and interpreting CAD drawings, operating CNC rotary and laser engraving machines, and ensuring accuracy and precision throughout the production process in this hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, an interest in artwork and technical drawing, and a willingness to learn CNC machine operation, with full training provided.

The role involves

Preparing computer aided drawings for proposal and manufacturing.

Machine setting.

Operating CNC and laser engraving machines,

Operating manual machines such as guillotines, fly presses, saws, linishing machines.

Inspection of parts both visually and by use of measuring equipment.

Ensuring that all products are of a high quality to uphold the company's reputation.

Other ad-hoc activities that may arise.

To be a successful you will have the following skills and experience:

The ideal candidate will have a background within the manufacturing, engineering, design or signage sector.

Knowledge of one or more of the following design packages will be an advantage.

o CorelDraw

o Adobe Illustrator

o AutoCAD

o Adobe Photoshop

o Or any other drawing application.

o Full training on engraving CAD/CAM software will be provided

A good knowledge of Microsoft Office 2019 (Excel, Word & Outlook)

Disciplined work approach

Confidently work both independently and as part of a team on a variety of jobs

Able to work from drawings and verbal instructions.
