Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cafe Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. As a Cafe Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, preparing food and hot beverages and maintaining a clean and welcoming cafe environment. Duties:

Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional and friendly manner Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and hot beverages to customers, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation Assist with food preparation, including baking and cooking. Work effectively as part of a team to achieve cafe goals and targets Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions accurately Maintaining stock levels, checking replenishing drinks and food.
Requirements:

1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cafe or food service environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to lift up to 10kg and stand for long periods
Desired Qualifications:

Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain) Previous experience working in a team environment

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
