We are looking for a Cafe Assistant / Barista to join our busy team here at Cafe Ambio, J36. At Cafe Ambio we make everything on site from cakes, bakes, specials and deli items. We proudly hold a 5 star EHO food rating. We are the sole catering provider to North West Auctions Weekly Auctions, J36 Exhibition Hall (offering a range of buffets) and our own Function Suite.

As a general Cafe Assistant / Barista the role is front of house based, serving on the counter, making drinks, taking orders etc. What the role entails:

Serving customers. Till work. Cash handling Making hot and cold beverages. Talking to customers. Cleaning. Washing up.

What's required:

Till experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Barista experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
The important stuff:

Competitive Salary - up to 12.25 per hour , depending on age. 37.5 Hours per week Paid Overtime 28 Days Holiday. Company Pension Scheme. Company Uniform Provided. Hours are 8.30am - 4:30pm any 5 days from 6. We are usually closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Occasional evening work will be required. Closed for the majority of the festive period.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS

This job can also be made for a part time position.
