Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cafe Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional service at our bustling cafe. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, barista experience, and enthusiasm in abundance. We're in a mill, but not run of the mill, and we like our team members to be the same.

Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe
- Adhere to food safety regulations and procedures
- Serve customers with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Operate coffee machines, cash registers, and other cafe equipment
- Manage stock levels and replenish supplies as needed
- Handle basic maths for transactions and inventory purposes
- Support the team in daily tasks to ensure smooth operations

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide assistance where needed
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management

Pay: 10.00-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
