Duties
Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and serving food and beverages.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment.
Support catering events by helping with setup, service, and breakdown as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Handle cash transactions accurately and assist with inventory management as required.
Stay informed about menu items and daily specials to effectively assist customers.
Experience
Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is advantageous.
Experience in catering or bartending will be considered a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
