We are looking for a friendly and efficient Cafe Assistant to join our small team. Responsibilities will include: delivering excellent customer service, assisting with food and beverage preparation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Previous restaurant or barista experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided. The ideal person will be enthusiastic and take pride in their work.
Duties
Welcome and serve customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages.
Assist with food preparation tasks in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen spaces.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till.
Follow food safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Flexibility to work during busy periods, including weekends if necessary.
