We're seeking two friendly, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to support with the day-to-day operations of our busy cafe located within our lively arts centre in Thirsk.
The successful applicants will welcome and assist customers in the cafe, delivering high-quality customer service, processing payments and operating the till.
They will support with food preparation and stock control, maintain food hygiene records, and ensure the cafe and kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy.
The roles will also involve helping to organise and provide buffets and refreshments for Rural Arts room hires.
These are forward-facing positions based primarily in the cafe, though from time to time the postholders will also handle general enquiries from visitors to the building.
Previous experience in hospitality or a retail environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Hours:
8-16 per week between Tuesday - Saturday, plus opportunity for holiday cover.
Salary:
National Minimum/Living Wage (Age dependent)
