Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cafe Assistant to join our team in Bilston. This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food offerings that align with our mission of supporting local agriculture.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving food and beverages Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Collaborate with team members to enhance the customer experience Handle cash transactions accurately Support barista duties as needed, including coffee preparation Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment

Qualifications

Proven experience in a catering role Strong knowledge of food safety practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience in a takeaway setting is desirable Barista experience is desirable but not mandatory A passion for quality food and customer satisfaction Working hours between 6:30am and 3:00pm (to be agreed)
