Duties

Prepare and serve food and beverages with attention to quality and presentation. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall efficiency of cafe operations. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering services is advantageous. Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Experience as a barista is a requirement, particularly in crafting various coffee beverages. Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
