About Loomies

Loomies Cafe is a vibrant independent cafe in West Meon, right on the iconic A32/A272. We're a go-to destination for Hampshire's biker community and beyond, serving up all day breakfasts, hearty burgers, loaded specials, and homemade bakes with a twist.

We're now looking for enthusiastic and capable

Cafe Cooks

to join our back-of-house team and help us deliver consistently great food, fast-paced service, and a warm welcome.

The Role

As a

Grill Cook

, you'll play a key part in our kitchen operation, working across our

grills, fryers, and prep stations

to prepare high-quality food that meets both our presentation standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled and fried dishes (e.g., breakfasts, burgers, loaded fries, specials) Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency Ensure all food is cooked and presented to a high standard Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment at all times Work efficiently during busy periods and support your team Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory management Adhere to all food hygiene and safety regulations

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food-focused cafe preferred (but not essential. We offer full training) Strong understanding of grilling, frying, and food preparation Passion for cooking and delivering great-tasting food Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment A proactive, reliable, and team-first attitude Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends

Own transport

is highly desirable due to our rural location

Pay: 7.50-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
