Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the cafe, including food production, customer service, and staff management
- Ensure high-quality food and beverage offerings are consistently delivered to customers
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all aspects of cafe operations
- Train and supervise cafe staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve cafe performance
Some of our team have a learning difficulty and will require guidance, training and supervision whilst on shift.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or cafe setting
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
