Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cafe Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and a background in hospitality, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. As the Cafe Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising a team and creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead cafe staff, fostering a positive team environment. Manage daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring high-quality culinary standards are met. Train and develop team members in hospitality best practices and customer service excellence. Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Create and implement promotional strategies to enhance cafe visibility and attract customers. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant or cafe setting. Strong background in hospitality, with an understanding of customer service principles. Excellent supervisory skills, capable of motivating staff to achieve their best performance. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is highly desirable. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to help others succeed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,520.00-26,936.00 per year
